Vallecillichthys multivertebratum
Taxonomy
Vallecillichthys multivertebratum was named by Blanco and Cavin (2003). Its type specimen is FCT-079, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vallecillo quarry (FCT collection), which is in a Turonian offshore limestone in the Agua Nueva Formation of Mexico. It is the type species of Vallecillichthys.
