Trionyx gobiensis
Taxonomy
Trionyx gobiensis was named by Danilov et al. (2014). Its type specimen is PIN 4064-2, a carapace (incomplete carapace), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bamba Khuduk (PIN coll. 4064), which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial horizon in the Nemegt Formation of Mongolia.
