Ecrinesomus dixoni
Taxonomy
Ecrinesomus dixoni was named by Woodward (1910). Its type specimen is BMNH P.10756, a partial skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Mahavavy river, Andogozo (BMNH collection), which is in a Dienerian marine shale in Madagascar. It is the type species of Ecrinesomus.
