Taxonomy
Amphissites dattonensis was named by Harlton (1927). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Upper Glenn Ostracoda 2, S OK, which is in a Pennsylvanian marine horizon in the Hoxbar Formation of Oklahoma.
