Bellubrunnus rothgaengeri
Taxonomy
Bellubrunnus rothgaengeri was named by Hone et al. (2012) [urn:lsid:zoobank.org:act:C0C68EB9-D8A5-4C28-B517-4F14553B8119]. Its type specimen is BSP-1993-XVIII-2, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Brunn Quarry layer 6, which is in a Kimmeridgian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal mudstone in Germany. It is the type species of Bellubrunnus.
