Neoamphissites costatus

Taxonomy
Neoamphissites costatus was named by Becker and Wang (1992). Its type specimen is NIGP 115670, a valve (right valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Beichuan, sample ACF1-275, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Wujiaping Formation of China. It is the type species of Neoamphissites.
