Platysomus swaffordae
Taxonomy
Platysomus swaffordae was named by Mickle and Bader (2009). Its type specimen is KUVP 145134, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is KU-WAB-12, Maple Hill, Wabaunsee County, which is in a Gzhelian estuary/bay shale in the Wood Siding Formation of Kansas.
