Coelodonta thibetana
Taxonomy
Coelodonta thibetana was named by Deng et al. (2011). Its type specimen is IVPP no. 15908, a partial skeleton (complete skull and mandible with associated vertebrae), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Zanda (ZD0740), which is in a MN 15 floodplain siltstone/claystone in the Zanda Formation of China.
