Leptoptilos robustus
Taxonomy
Leptoptilos robustus was named by Meijer and Awe Due (2010). Its type specimen is LBA-XI-01, 02, 03, and 04, a partial skeleton (associated partial skeleton with wing and leg bones), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Liang Bua Sector XI, Spits 43-47, which is in a Pleistocene cave siltstone in Indonesia.
