Arctochonetes postartiensis

Taxonomy
Chonetina postartiensis was named by Ustritsky (1960). Its type specimen is TsNIGR 8199/112, a valve (ventral valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Liur-Yaga River, outcrop 102, bed v, Pay-Khoy Range, which is in a Kungurian marine horizon in the Vorkutskoy Formation of the Russian Federation.

It was recombined as Arctochonetes postartiensis by Ifanova (1968), Afanasjeva (1977), Kalashnikov (1993).
