Sister taxa: none

Type specimen: KNM-WK 16950A and B, a partial skull (partial cranium and mandible). Its type locality is Kalodirr, west of Lake Turkana, which is in a Burdigalian channel horizon in the Lothidok Formation of Kenya.

Ecology: arboreal omnivore

Distribution: found only at Kalodirr, west of Lake Turkana
