Type specimen: MLP 13-I-26-1, a set of teeth (Complete left and an almost complete right mandibular tooth plate, and two almost complete palatine and vomerine tooth plates). Its type locality is James Ross Island, Herbert Sound Member, which is in a Campanian marine sandstone/mudstone in the Snow Hill Island Formation of Antarctica.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution: found only at James Ross Island, Herbert Sound Member
