Type specimen: LACMIP 12204, a shell. Its type locality is LACMIP loc. 14312, Warm Springs Mountain, which is in a Maastrichtian transition zone/lower shoreface sandstone in the San Francisquito Formation of California.

Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder

Distribution:
