Type specimen: Chengdu Institute of Geology and Mineral Resources, SBi300. Its type locality is Lianjiechang, Weiyuan, which is in a Triassic fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Wuzhongshan Formation of China.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Lianjiechang, Weiyuan
