Type specimen: BGS GSM 24179, a shell. Its type locality is Allt-Tair-ffynon Beds at Allt y Gadair, which is in a Longvillian marine mudstone in the United Kingdom.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Allt-Tair-ffynon Beds at Allt y Gadair
