Environment/lithology: marine; lithified, fine-grained, concretionary, nodular, brown, calcareous sandstone

• SPECIFIC LITHOLOGY: Weathered, calcareous, brown-colored and very fine-grained sandstone with frequent intercalations of lenticular sandstone beds which yield abundant stems of frinoid and spines or echinoderms; sandstone also yields various-shaped calcareous fossiliferous nodules. LITHIFICATION: Lithified, on the basis of figured specimens.
