• "[Set of three related communities, of which this is one] developed on an extensive, differentiated shoal in littoral-sublittoral environments subject to algal and carbonate ooze sedimentation. [For this community]: Littoral, shallow marine environments probably belonging to BA 2...Ostracodes commonly still articulated without evidence suggesting transport or sorting."

• "Carbonate muds, algal mats and shallow water stromatolites are present. Dolomitic rocks, as well as pelloidal and algal limestones are interbedded with limestones crowded with both ostracodes."
