Restes rugosus
Taxonomy
Restes rugosus was named by Gauthier (1982) [Exostinus rugosus was named by Gilmore 1942; Gauthier 1982 determined E. rugosus not to be a member of Exostinus and errected a new genus for this species: Restes rugosus.]. It is not extant. Its type specimen is PU 14559. Its type locality is Princeton Quarry, which is in a Tiffanian terrestrial horizon in the Fort Union Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Restes.
