Yaminuechelys gasparinii
Taxonomy
Yaminuechelys gasparinii was named by de la Fuente et al. (2001). Its type specimen is MPA 86-86-IC, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yaminue Creek, Cerro Blanco (mudstone), which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian lacustrine mudstone/sandstone in the Allen Formation of Argentina.
