Pandemonium was named by Van Valen (1994). It is not extant. Its type is Pandemonium dis.
It was assigned to Plesiadapidae by Van Valen (1994) and McKenna and Bell (1997); and to Plesiadapiformes by Hooker et al. (1999) and Fox et al. (2014).
