Garnbergia ommata
Taxonomy
Garnbergia ommata was named by Martin and Wenz (1984). Its type specimen is SMNS 51035, a partial skeleton (skull and fragment of trunk), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Künzelsau-Garnberg quarry, which is in an Illyrian carbonate limestone in the Meissner Formation of Germany.
