Saurillodon proraformis
Taxonomy
Saurillus proraformis was named by Estes (1983). Its type specimen is FUB Gui 7, a mandible (edentulous dentary), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Guimarota, which is in a Kimmeridgian lagoonal coal in the Alcobaça Formation of Portugal. It is the type species of Saurillodon.
It was recombined as Saurillodon proraformis by Estes (1983).
