Taxonomy
Langsonia liquidens was named by Schwartz et al. (1995). Its type specimen is TK 65/44, a tooth (right /m1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tham Khuyen, which is in a Pleistocene cave breccia in Vietnam. It is the type species of Langsonia.
