Nanogomphodon wildi
Taxonomy
Nanogomphodon wildi was named by Hopson and Sues (2006). Its type specimen is SMNS 51962, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Leitenäcker II, Michelbach an der Bilz, which is in a Longobardian terrestrial marl in the Erfurt Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Nanogomphodon.
