Comments: Excavations carried out in recent years in Kerassiá brought to light many fossiliferous sites. In this study, the carnivores from the three richest sites, Kerassiá 1 (K1), Kerassiá 3 (K3) and Kerassiá 4 (K4), are discussed. K1 includes Metailurus cf. parvulus and possibly Adcrocuta eximia; K3 includes Plioviverrops sp. and cf. Ictitherium pannonicum; and K4 includes Adcrocuta eximia and Machairodus giganteus. The carnivores as well as the other faunal remains from these localities indicate an early to middle Turolian age.
