Lithology description: "The lithofacies at the Marchezan site consists of nonlaminated to finely laminated reddish mudstones, with sandstone lenses, similar to other outcrops of the Hyperodapedon AZ (Zerfass et al. 2003). In addition, there are rhythmites and sigmoidal massive to climbing cross-laminated sandstone bodies." (Pacheco et al. 2018)
