Lithology description: The specimen is in a very hard gray limestone conretion that weathers on the surface to a soft yellowish clay. Small nodules of hematite occur, superficially weathered to limonite. Small uncrushed cehalopod shells are abundant in the limestone. The matrix is crossed by veins of crystalline limestone and gypsum. | |
