• Late Danian-early Selandian based on Zimicz et al. (2020), but del Papa et al. (2022) provided an absolute date for the upper levels of the Mealla Fm., giving a U–Pb zircon age of 58 Ma. del Papa et al. (2022) proposed a temporal range of 61–57 Ma for the Mealla Fm.
