When: Colonograptus deubeli - Colonograptus ludensis graptolite zone, Lower Member (Khatynbulak Formation), Homerian (430.5 - 427.4 Ma)

• PJW: was Merishkor, but that is a local stage roughly equivalent to the Wenlock (or even just Homerian). Given the area, this must be the lower half Khatynbulak, which extends from the Homerian to the Gorstian (Iganova, Owens, Kim & Popov 2009). The Khatynbulak is overlain by the Chaltash Formation in the Kurgan local stage (there can be only one!).
