Environment/lithology: lacustrine; green claystone

• "green clay" thought to represent a "swamp or pond"; series of six dates gave unreliable results due to lack of collagen, contamination, and leaching; locality thought to be earlier than late Wisconsinan based on this and on geomorphology; see also Gruhn 1978
