• In the Baraolt Basin, Brasov Depression. In the same fossiliferous layer as that of Rotbav-Dealul Tiganilor, lower level (level 1). Middle Pleistocene, 'Cromerian Complex'. Later than the Brunhes/Matuyama boundary. Correlated with the Tiraspolian faunal complex, Kolkotovian horizon.
