Environment/lithology: cave; red, sandy claystone and carbonate

• "Level 2 is characterized by orange to reddish sandy to clayey sediments (with a greater proportion of pelitic materials compared with the preceding level). A paleosol is evident in the middle of this interval. This paleosol is overlain by lattice-type calcareous concretions that become conspicuously more concentrated towards the top, forming a thick compact layer that stands out from the profile. Another palaeosol is present at the top of this level."
