When: Upper Member (Canon de Caballeros Formation), Homerian to Homerian (430.5 - 425.6 Ma)

• Macropleurella and Sphaerirhynchia suggest a late Wenlock - early Ludlow age, supported by Amphistrophiella (S.) carillobravoi.

• member-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: offshore; lithified, argillaceous, silty siltstone and sandstone

• Upper member fauna belong to BA3 but Janius community, representing high-diversity, level bottom, moderately turbulent environments.
• consists of shaley siltstone and very fine-grained sandstone and a few beds of fine-to-medium grained sandstone.
