• a "portion of the mollusks" closely associated with and even found inside the skull "yielded a date of 10,800 +/- 835 years B.P."

Environment/lithology: lacustrine - small; unlithified, gray, blue, carbonaceous claystone

• "probably... a small lake deposit"
• "blue-gray to black organic clay" also described simply as "blue-gray organic clay"
