• The Pabdeh Formation, was erroneously aged Cretaceous by Priem (1908), and Rupelian (Oligocene) by Arambourg (1943) and Arambourg (1967). It is more accurately middle to late Eocene in age (Afsari et al., 2014; and references therein).
