Environment/lithology: marine; lithified volcaniclastic sediments and lithified, lenticular limestone
• "Dras volcanics consist of purple and bright green tuffaceous shales, reddish agglomerates, lava flows and laminated shaly ash beds. The basic volcanics are intruded by serpentinites and peridotites. Intercalated with the volcanic roacks are lenticulare bands of limestone.
