Where: Italy (45.5° N, 11.8° E: paleocoordinates 42.7° N, 10.1° E)
• outcrop-level geographic resolution
When: Early/Lower Oligocene (33.9 - 28.4 Ma)
• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From the coralligneous and nummulitic limestone (unknown lithostratigraphic unit) of the Early Oligocene age that overlies the uppermost part "Marne a briozoi" of the Marna di Priabona Fm. AGE: Early Oligocene. Age justified on the basis of calcareous nannoplankton. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: From an outcrop of approximately 5 m thickness at the base (immediately above underlying Late Eocene marl), within 40 m thick local section.
• bed-level stratigraphic resolution
Environment/lithology: reef, buildup or bioherm; lithified, shelly/skeletal, calcareous limestone
Size class: macrofossils
Collection methods: surface (in situ),
• COLLECTOR: Unknown. REPOSITORY: Padova University, Italy.
