When: Allen Formation (Malargüe Group), Late/Upper Campanian to Late/Upper Campanian (83.5 - 66.0 Ma)
• The fossil were collected from the basal seccion of the profile I/99-I/02 (Carignano and Garrido, 2006).
Environment/lithology: shallow subtidal; fine-grained, medium sandstone and gray, green, yellow mudstone
Size class: microfossils
• The recovered microfauna includes Protelphidium sp., Patellina, Quinqueloculina and Ammobaculites. There are also cypridoids (such such as Neuquenocypris) and cytheroideans.
