Stratigraphy comments: Middle Ripley. The Ripley Formation contains a lower part that is Late Campanian and, following an unconformity, a late Early Maastrichtian (possibly early Late Maastrichtian) upper part. Although it's not clear how the use of lower/middle/upper in this area relates to that division, a Late Campanian age is assigned to the collection.
Ripley Formation is generally considered Maastrichtian age e.g. see Stringer et al. 2020 and Gifford et al. 2020
