Stratigraphy
Formation:Santa Marta Member:Rabot
Stratigraphic resolution:group of beds
Stratigraphy comments: STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From the Rabot Mbr of the Santa Marta Fm, which is locally overlain by the López de Bertodano Fm (Campanian-Maastrichtian). The Rabot Mbr of Crame et al. (1991) is raised to formation rank by Marenssi et al. (1992), but the former lithostratigraphic nomenclature is used by the enterer AGE: Late Campanian, on the basis of ammonite biostratigraphy. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: From lower "member 1" of the Rabot Member.

Taxonomic list comments:COVERAGE: COVERAGE: Exhaustive for ammonoidea and bivalvia. NOMENCLATURE: Not an authoritative publication, but with fairly modern nomenclature and species-resolution identifications where listed.
