Stratigraphy comments: "the sedimentary sequence was a lower blue clay (marl) with an upper peat color" with Cervalces apparently coming from the peat and Megalonyx from the clay, but most other specimens of unknown provenance
best AMS 14C dates of on "highly purified bone collagen" are "11,405 +/- 50 14C yr B.P." (Cervalces) and "11,430 +/- 60 14 C yr B.P.... and 11,485 +/- 40" (Meglonyx)
