Lithology description: Jebel el Oftal (#1) (#2) (#3) Orientation: NW-SE Length: 100m (1) 200m (2) 50m (3) Width: 50m (1) 100m (2) 25m (3) Elevation: 15m (1) 25m (2) 10 (3) The smaller mounds of Jebel el Oftal are constructed on slightly tilted Eifelian wackestones to packstones. The mounds are totally exhumed and therefore yield only limeted informarion about their sedimentary cover.
