Lithology description: Conglomerate, gray to brown, thin-bedded (4-12 in); grades into conglomeratic limestone; contains many fossils, concentrated locally, also scattered among pebbles. Matrix: aphantic to fine grained limestone. Gravel: mostly durable rocks including flint, chert, and quartzite; some dark-gray and light-gray limestone and red-brown siltstone; largely 0.25-0.5 in. in diameter, maximum 1 in.; subangular to rounded.
