Collection method comments: Material taken from boreholes and pits. First found in 1939. 50kg bulk samples were taken from successive grabs 25cm thick to a depth of 350cm, amounting to 1.5 tons of sediment and wet sieved through 1cm and 1mm sieves. All material is held at the University Museum of Zoology, Cambrige, with a small amount at the BMNH in London. | |||
