Lithology description: "This comm. occurs in the so-called flank beds around a central carbonate mound core consisting of dense dolomudstones with a limited megafauna of large colonial rugose and tabulate corals and scattered crinoidal debris. The bulk of the echinoderms occur in flanking crinoidal packstones and grainstones, some displaying graded bedding. These represent debris flows around the carbonate mounds."
Environment:deep subtidal ramp Tectonic setting:cratonic basin
Glacial or sequence phase:highstand systems tract
Geology comments: "Echinoderms found both as intact cups and as large debris pieces...occasional root systems..this does not appear to be a thicket community...mound core BA 3...flank facies shallow-middle BA 4"
