Lithology and environment
Primary lithology: dolomite
Lithology description: These limestone plates were characterized by the abundance of ostracods that Choffat (1885) referred to Cypris. Those ostracod-rich beds were not specifically referred by Ramalho (1993). However, these beds, from the upper part of the “Niveau de Ostrea aff. africana” (Choffat, 1885), probably correspond to the dolomitic limestones identified at the top of the middle Cenomanian (Ramalho, 1993).
