Geology comments: "The strata...were deposited along a shoreline in warm, very shallow sublittoral water (Saul, 1982). The sedimentological details of the Baker Canyon Member indicate a fluctuating, moderate to high-energy, lower to upper shoreface paleoenvironment associated with a fan-delta setting (Cooper et al.1982)"
