Stratigraphy
Stratigraphy comments: Accordingly, ROS-D6 may correlate to the second half of the late Vallesian, being close in age to Trinxera Nord Autopista (ca. 9.3 Ma) and Torrent de Febulines (ca. 9.1 Ma).
The age of Can Llobateres 1, la Tarumba 1 and Torrent de Febulines is also well constrained, thanks to combined bio- and magnetostratigraphic data. La Tarumba 1 would be slightly younger (ca. 9.6 Ma) and Torrent de Febulines would correspond to the last part of the Vallesian (ca. 9.1 Ma). |
