Stratigraphy comments: Hulbert, Jr. 1987 (thesis): "Stratigraphic occurence and age of the type locality . uncertain, but here interpreted to probably be early Hemphillian. Previously thought to be significantly older, i.e. equivalent to the Quincy and Midway local faunas, or late Hemingfordian."
