Primary lithology: conglomerate
Secondary lithology:yellow calcareous sandstone
Lithology description: In the vicinity of Kienberg the Lower Badenian Sedlec Beds (chaotic coarse and blocky marine conglomerates) transgress over the rocks of the Ždánice Unit (Čtyroký 1993). Higher up, the sands, sandstones, algal sandstones and limestones and calcareous clays of the Hrušky Formation cover the Sedlec Member or lie directly on the Flysch sediments.
Environment:marine indet.
Geology comments: Marine waters in a subtropical climate, with depths of no more than 60 m. A high proportion of reef-associated taxa are also present.
